Climate change mitigation

Climate change mitigation is a strategy to reduce the emission of greenhouses gases into the atmosphere. The main functions of this mitigation is reducing or eliminate human influence on climate change due to industrial development, and also slow down the process of global warming. Climate change mitigation introduces some alternative method to reduce the greenhouse gases emission.

Some mitigation adaptation:

· End- use energy efficiency improvement

· Renewable energy such as wind power, hydropower

· Fuel switching projects

· Reduction of industrial emission

· Methane capture and recycle of coal mines, landfills and industrial wastewater

· Reforestation

Human influence on climate change

For many years, human is the biggest treat of Mother Nature. Every pollution occurred was because of human daily activities and industrial development. Since the 18th and 19th century, the industrial developments have expanded therefore the gases in the production line released into the atmosphere was build up. Gases such as carbon dioxide and methane are dangerous to human health.

Human activities that lead to climate changes:

· Agricultural

· Deforestation

· Fossil Fuel

· Refrigeration consumption

· Fire suppression

· Manufacturing activities

Climate change and it causes

Climate change is the changes of the statistical distribution of weather over a period of time. Climate change only occurs in limited region only. It is a change in the average weather for example fewer or greater the event of weather occurs in a year.

The climate change causes:

  • Plate tectonics
  • Solar output
  • Orbital variations
  • Ocean variability
  • Human influences

What are the impact of global warming?

Firstly we have already introduction and brief what is global warming and how it happen. Now we would like to share the impact of global warming.

The most obvious impact of global warming are:

1. Rapid changes in global temperature.

2. Extreme weather patterns such as volcano eruption, super storms

3. Ecosystems impact

4. Rising sea level

5. Increasing in ocean acidification

Obviously with all the phenomena happen, it will only bring bad than good to our earth. We not only facing dangerous disaster but also ruin the future of our next generation.
